Default Need GTX 460 in BD

Guyz.. i've joined newly to this forum. yes i m a hardcore gamer. though after job life the ratio of gaming has shrinked a bit. i haven't played a game since last 3 month. dammmmm.
cos my last card 9800GTX , i fried it while trying to resurrection in it's 5th time. well it gave me a solid service. i m really proud of that HERO. now the thing is no reasonable GTX 400 series available right now in our country. i mailed - [email protected].(ASUS Brand provider). they said very soon it shall be imported and pricing will be as follows

    Price
    ENGTX460 DirectCU TOP/2DI/1GD5 :
    Tk. 18,600

    Tk. 17,800
    ENGTX460 DirectCU/2DI/1GD5

    Tk. 14000
    ENGTX460 DirectCU TOP/2DI/768MD5

and they asked me how many quantities i need?????
well feeling great to share this view with u gamer people.
    THANX....

oh another thing. i heard that NVIDIA has announced price cuts for GTX 400 series. check the link http://www.dvhardware.net/article46083.html .
well thats a bit sad news. cos in our country it will be affected after 5-6 months later.

HD6870 is $240. HD6850 is <$200 and performs similar to GTX460, but GTX460 overclocks better. GTX470 is a great deal at $260, but dont forget the power/noise/heat. Still, by performance alone its great.

MSRP of the GTX460 is still $220 btw. It can be found for cheaper because its been out for a while. Same thing will happen with the 6870 as well, hence the price difference would be around $20 ie their difference in MSRP

And in your post you mentioned nothing about GTX460 being best <$200. You said HD6870 should be compared to HD5770 and not GTX460. Thats what I had an issue with.

Finally, the Palit's SP version and EVGA's GTX460 FTW are faster than a stock HD6870 because they are heavily overclocked (hence not much overclocking headroom left), but you can overclock a HD6870 as well so its a non issue for overclockers. Also, overclocked HD6870's are around the corner, the card just got released so its taking some time.

if it is a heavily oc.ed card then it may perform at par or a very little-tiny-bit faster than 470.but it will take alot power than referance clocked 460.nd, it has alittle oc headroom while 470 has more headroom than this edition.and,it comes with higher prices too than normal 460.

Also, overclocked HD6870's are around the corner, the card just got released so its taking some time.
unfortunately Radeon 6870 akhono priced over $250 and supply is still limited.

I think at present, factory OCed GTX 460 such as from MSI/eVGA provides better value. Most of them can be bought for $210 to $220.
