    Default Help with TV

Planning to buy a TV from BD ( I guess it would be better to buy from abroad, but i cant) so my priorities are,

    • 32 inch or Lesser, infact the least inch available with 1080p (1920x1080)
    • LED (or suggest any other types)
    • USB enabled
    • Which Brand 2 go for?
    • Which Shop?
    • Warranty?
    • anything else should i b concerned with?

i will add more questions if i can find more, give me your thoughts

    Thanks anyway

    Snow 42" W600 | Sony 32" W700 | Samsung 32" UAH5500 | Samsung 32" UAH5000
All of them are similarly priced. If you want reviews google UE for samsung instead me UA. Both are same except E for Europe and A for Asia. And UN for north america aren't the same cause they are 60hz vs Europe and Asia's 50hz. All of them are internet TVs except Samsung H5000. But saw a review that said H5000 was slightly better in picture quality than H5500 but un-noticeable to naked eye. If you find F in the market instead me H, (which you will) note that F models are 2013 whereas H are 2014.

Oh and if you decide to venture in the gray market (e.g. unofficial importers) and see a massive price difference between showroom models that's cause of warranty. But a friend of mine didn't buy sony from the showroom cause rangs gave 1 yr parts warranty only albeit with 3 yr service warranty. But personally I don't know for sure.

Go for Unofficial importers if you want to save serious bucks.. like 10-15k .. they offer 5 year Service warranty . and I would recommend Sony W654 32-inch

    http://www.bdstall.com/details/sony-w654-32-inch-full-hd-internet-ready-wifi-led-tv-16926/

And a reminder, u can turn any LED TV into a smart TV with Google's Chromecast [3200 bdt]

u will not get any warranty at all. Not even for a day. At least that was the case when i bought mine. So, if you do buy from them, test it as long as possible.

they seem good because they were quite upfront about the fact that they are bringing original product(at least in my case) and they don't provide any warranty.

To me its better than saying "we do provide warranty for x time period but do not include parts only service, bla bla"
So, you know what kind of risk you r taking in the 1st place.

All TVs are same. You have to "buy" the warranty period, which is kinda stupid considering the period they give you. One year parts warranty means exactly that. Free remote, free panel (if it miraculously busts within a year), free accessories replacement. And extended service warranty, means they'll do the setup free of charge for that period even after parts warranty is finished and you have to buy the parts. You don't need it IMO. But after some years you might face some problems finding the replacement in case something does go wrong. A friend of mine recently faced this particular problem. His Sharp's remote busted and along with it busted his balls since it was direly unavailable. After some searching an Esquire dealer did have one but was asking 10k!! Now he's using a 400 taka universal remote which's grey-ness looks shitty in contrast to his large wall-mounted 56" TV.
