Default TV card suggestions required plus answers for some questions

i may buy a new tv card soon just for the purpose of recording tv programs on schedule like let say i am going to sleep at 10:30 pm and i schedule the recording for tv program of specific Channel from 11:00 pm to 2:00 AM and after that my pc will shutdown as well as tv card too.is it possible to do such things with a tv card that can capture tv programs?

another important question is whether tv program recording with tv card worth it?would the recorded programs be enjoyable visually plus would audio quality be decent?

i mean 2-3 years back i saw some captured video songs by an internal tv card and the quality was awful.video wasn't that good and the sound was cracking(breaking here and there).i don't know whether it was some problem with tv card or something.

so is there any chance the quality of video/audio(of tv programs) captured by today tv cards whether internal or external usb tv cards have improved?which brand is best for tv program capturing and let me schedule the capturing?internal or external usb tv card which one is better for capturing tv program plus why it is better?

and if possible let me know the latest price of the tv card you suggest.

Yah nowadays recorded clips from a tv card is quite good

u certainly can njoy what u recorded............................

    u got 2 options

    1.Internal TV Card
    2.USB TV Card

both are quite good but internal one's better i guess

    Recommendetions-

    1.AverTv Super 009 (Avermedia) - 2900tk (Superb feature set)

    2.AverTv Volar Go (Avermedia) - 3450tk (Fm+USB)

3.KWorld Internal Tv Card - 2100tk (Best Bang for the buck )

4.AverTv Capture HD - 9800tk ( waste of money cause we ain't got HD streams Yet )

Kung fu...the quality toatlly depends on the settings you use...most cards can capture vids at quite good quality...

problems...your cable connection has to be flawless....if your conn have jitter or some artifacts which shows than there is no point....

and if you are talking about english channels..than usually you can download the episode or something almost the next day......so thats what i do i dload it always...

and about quality of cable...in BD still all the cables are analog....almost all developed countries use digital cable...the good thing digital cable is flawless....i mean if you get the signal...the picture will be DVD quality in case of SD channels...but if you dont you will not recieve anything...

    ok great reply m8.

one thing i need to know as you mentioned AverTv Super 009 (Avermedia) has "Superb feature set"

so my question is does AverTv Volar Go (Avermedia) have less or same(being more expensive than the internal card) amount of feature than the AverTv Super 009 (Avermedia)?plus can you give some details about the important/superb features?

one thing i want to know from you guys is whether USB interface(in case of USB tv card) and pci interface(if it is pci interface-guess most likely so in case of internal tv card) have any influence or affect on the quality of capture?positive or negative?

    ---------- Post added at 20:04 ---------- Previous post was at 20:03 ----------

i mean which is better or no difference?

if no one uploads a clip i'll upload one for u..............bt u'll hv to w8 like 2 days cause my net connection is fried

i'm using a gadmei and a kworld card both are pretty good.........i rec in mp4 format nd h.264 container...........1 hour sdtv show takes about 2.5gb initial space then i convert to .mkv format then size drops to approx 300mb

if u've downloaded vid clips from videopimp.org and liked the quality then u are all set as quality of recorded clips tends to have same or better quality.

buy a card first,i'll xplain the advance settings no worries cheers

if u've downloaded vid clips from videopimp.org and liked the quality then u are all set as quality of recorded clips tends to have same or better quality.

buy a card first,i'll xplain the advance settings no worries cheers
that would be great bro.and i will happily wait for two or even three days.

and bro i would like to buy the usb version but does that mean it won't have "u got 16 channel preview........nd my fav pip/pop function".. as you mentioned before.

i don't understand why these features can't be with usb AverTv Volar Go?is it just because it's usb version?don't understand why these nice features are not with the usb version AverTv Volar Go?

the reason i am thinking about buying usb version is to keep my cpu's inside space free from adding a extra card.
