tagging Fox Mulder bro, if you want to say anything about gaming gears fb group, you can say it here, but dont tag me in facebook please (specially not in profiles where i am not friends with)

    on topic:

just saying, i do believe pc world rajshahi is the owner of that fb group. because i was the creator of that fb group, and later i didnt have the time to manage the group so 2nd moderator R Robin Rayhan told me pc world rajshahi wants to buy that group, "i said its okay, i am not selling directly, i will just leave adminship and you can sell it to them, no problem." then i left. i dont know what is the contract between him and PC world rajshahi, but i assume pc world rajshahi has the right to promote themselves in that group.

now dont ask me why i left -_- there was no drama there, i left because i dont have time.
before that fb group there was no gaming gears exchange forum in BD (cellbazar and clickbd was there), in fact there was no buy/sell group at all, after making the group there was a platform for selling 2nd hand gaming gears, so my mission was over.

the buy/sell scenario changed fast and there are many buy/sell groups now so i dont think people who dont like that group policy will face problem if they leave. just saying.

now fox mulder bro will say- y u left, y y y? i will say- time ki gache dhore and seriously, there was people who didnt like group policy in the early years of gaming gears because i send 3 group messages every week, so my point is if anyone dislikes group policy feel free to leave, as the constitution of BD, and USA(where fb server is located) you have the right to leave.

no, why dont you guys open a group and add people from bg.
or just stick with banglagamer, the number of noobs here is too low comparing to fb.

off topic suggestion- dont make vanguard admin else he will start insulting people for noobness

about gaming gears- i think they can just change their group policy to "no other groups can be promoted here except pc world rajshahi as we are owner".

i dont think i will leave the group for just that. its not a big deal to me

thanks for the explanation, now it makes everything clear that admind tries to make the members follow the rules which is actually good since it keeps away spammer but also want to use the group to represent pcwr as its a large group and they bought it or something like that.

He is just trying to raise a point & he should. At least, someone stood up to address the absurd policies of that group. Then again, who cares about the rules? right? Admins are free to do whatever they want. They can bend their own rules, if they want/have to.

ya, off topic but on topic: remember youtube changing policy over music videos? how they kinda forced everybody to google play music, or else they will delete their music video completely???? they could do it because they have too much power almost like monopoly over videos,
so the point is- if one website has too much power over video distribution or music distribution or gaming gears distribution... this type of monopolies can always happen, because its not about integrity these days, its about business this is the type of world we live in

i think they bought adminship, i am pretty sure that can be bought unofficially, because i saw many youtube channels are being bought from one user to another, example- pixelenemy youtube channel was bought by another guy from the original pixelenemy.

btw whats their current policy now?forgive me i dont understand what you saying- when i was admin i almost didnt allow any other groups to be promoted in that group, i mean what changes they made except for promoting pcwr??

about gaming gears- i think they can just change their group policy to "no other groups can be promoted here except pc world rajshahi as we are owner".

i dont think i will leave the group for just that. its not a big deal to me
yeah me too think that they should change the rule to something like, members are not allowed to post others group link except admin, i think that would be much more convenient to all, but the problem is most people don't know the scenario and assume that admins are no different and the rule should be equall for all, well that's a fb group after all and as far as i know no one can be owner of any fb group, but they treat like that which makes most surprised. and i noticed one more thing that nowadays not many people are active in that group but it used to be pretty much crowed when you were admin. well things have changed certainly.

thats true but probably because there are many competitors now.

it's funny how people forgot that final year of my adminship was horrible, because i was inactive people spammed as much as they could. later in last couple of months of my adminship i appointed R Robin Rayhan and he managed things properly.
only the first two years of my adminship was good i think.

if you considering creating a neutral exchange group maybe you should do it.

my suggestion- restrict it to gaming gears, pc hardware and original games.... and enthusiast products like oculus rift or google glass :v
cell phones/pirated games should be banned because there are other groups for these.

you might want to ban discussions as well, because people ask stupid questions in fb (if those questions were asked in answers.yahoo.com they would be in top 5 stupid questions of all time), and they even start amd vs nvidia wars or other wars... at least in BG people know what they are arguing about, but in fb they dont even know that

or you can allow discussions if you have enough admins,
or you can make separate group for discussions.

group policy can be- ask admin before promoting other groups/pages related to gaming gears or original games

you and other admins have to invest a lot of time :\ good luck inadvance :v

Why am I tagged in here in the first place? PCWR does a legit business, and they provide warranties pretty well, it's a Bangali habit to look for holes in things where there's none.

Okay, I had a good look at the images.

The problem is with a certain moderator of that group, and not it's policy.

The moderator in question is newly appointed, with somewhat of a background from EEE, and tends to make comments like "Corsair manufactures their own PSU"

But his actions doesn't represent the group nor PCWR. I know Ahmed Zunayed Tashique bhai as well as Milky bhai, both of them are members of BG as well.

@Fox Mulder , I wish Shahriar Mahmud could understand as easily as you did :/
@Shrapmeth , I appreciate your view brother. I wish more people would stand up against such odd rules set by the group moderators. I never had any issue with PCWorld Rajshahi. The chaos all started when someone posted an SS of the Origin offer for BF3, and he was rudely asked to take the post down or would face imminent ban if he didnt oblige to the 'admin'. A few days back someone was selling NFS origin keys, and he as well was asked to do the same, stated reason : he was promoting. Promoting what? Origin? That is hilarious.
