Default taskbar's clock and date problem

for the last couple of weeks i have this strange problem with my pc's taskbar's clock and date.

it seems once in every 2-5 days my windows xp sp3 taskbar's time and date falls behind.i corrected the time and date every time but this keeps happening again and again.just today in the morning at 7 AM when i switched on my pc i noticed taskbar's clock and date was showing like it was then 8 PM and September 13 instead of the correct time of 7 AM and correct date of September 14.

what could be reason for this problem?is it any virus problem?

Trying flashing BIOS to a more recent version.........or if there is no recent version then try reinstalling current version.
If problem remains then take out the battery and wait for a while and then plug it back.
    See if that helps.

That is a common problem if you keep the time synchronization on. I overcame this issue seven years back when I leaned to disable the Windows Time service completely. This is almost an useless service for most pros but helps newbies a lot. Oh well. Problem solved.

Ha ha ha! How was [email protected] [email protected] bro? You see, if you turn off less useful apps, you automatically become a pro. You keep on using such stuff (for no logical reason), you get marked as a newbie. This is called the "Theory of Idioti-vity" (invented my McTahmid)! Haven't you heard of this theory before? This is the latest thing in town-"Theory of Idioti-vity"!
