I doubt link3 distributes in that area. You will not face ANY issues with link3 relating to ports. Their only problem is their coverage, or else I'd say its hands down the best ISP.

    512K standard is Tk2300 and 512K NDP, meaning 1MB after 8PM, is Tk2800.

384K NDP perfectly suits your current budget, Tk1900.

I think link-3 blocks cached servers like daruchinibd, tejpata, clickndownloads etc. otherwise their service is good

Those aren't cachced servers. The speeds that you get are because of BDIX, intra-connectivity between ISPs of Bangladesh. And in most areas its not blocked, just a select few users such as myself.¤

However, even with the limit, I'm yet to meet a L3 user who misses daruchini. You can DL the torrent yourself with the amount of bandwidth they provide.

    Not to hijack this thread,
But do you have to pay Link-3 anything to take their connection? As in, a signup fee or something.
My family's finally moving out of Mirpur S12, and I might be able to get link3 =3=

One of my friend in dhanmondi use the 1400tk package...he gets 384kbps all the time...they also offer another type of package for 1400tk...that is 512kbps from 8pm-8am then 256kbps from 8am to 8pm...and they charge 1000tk for installation which is fair enough for their fiber optic cables
