    Default MotherBoard suggestion

I will be getting a motherboard fot core i5 750 or 760 from abroad. My choice of brand in Gigabyte so among these pls suggest me which is the overall better performer..Also consider the USB 3.0 and the sata 2 thing...

    1. GIGABYTE H55M-S2
    2. GIGABYTE H55M-UD2H
    3. GIGABYTE H55M-USB3
    4. GIGABYTE H57M-USB3
    5. GIGABYTE P55-US3L
    6. GIGABYTE P55-USB3L
    7. Asus P7P55D-E LX

I may also consider asus if that gives me a better performance for the same value.

    Also will a 500w delta be enough for i5 750+ ati 5770??

Also One more question wll there be any problem in the bd airport if I bring the processor and the mothaerboard along with me??

The USB 3.0 boards you mentioned all have some sort of bottleneck with the 55 chip. The one suggested by Avas brother is really good. Get any board that has P55A in its name. The A is for onboard acceleration. That means it has both USB 3.0 and SATA III without much bottlenecks. Asus mobos are good but their audio chipset is from VIA which is adequate but not as superior as the Realtek ones in Gigabyte. You get 7.1 channel onboard with Blu-Ray acceleration and Dolby Surround.

About PSU, yeah definitely this PSU will be strong enough to handle the load.

You want to bring hardware from abroad. I do not believe that will be a problem if you do not bring much items. Mazhar bro brought a casing in his luggage without paying a penny. Why cant you bring?

    Default Re: MotherBoard suggestion

Pardon me abhi, i had been real busy.

These r the two boards that u can choose from depending on your priorities :

    1. ASUS P7P55D-E : Get this if you don 't have plans to crossfire cards such as 5870/480/5970 that require a lot 'f bandwidth to scale well. This stands as the perfect slution if u plan to use a single top-end card and also have ne intentions to introduce an NVIDIA card later for PHYSX. It offers a 16X 4X multi-gpu combination. This will give you enough lanes(16) to feed as much as a 5970 as your primary GPU even with a PhysX card popped into the 2ndary slot. The Physx card shall operate @ 4X which is enough for it to carry out its job without taking ne performance hit.

Advantages : VIA VT1828s audio chip, monster overclocker, 16X 4X combo - perfect for powerful primary GPU + dedicated physx, PCIex X4 bridgechip, ATX, AMI BIOS

    2. ASUS P7P55D-E Pro : You should rather go with this if u intend to crossfire a pair 'f 5870s but nothing more than that. It offers an 8X 8X multi-gpu mode that is more suitable for multi-gpu scaling.

Advantages : VIA VT1828s audio chip, monster overclocker, 8X 8Xmulti-GPU mode - ideal for multi-GPU scaling, PCIex X4 bridgechip, ATX, AMI BIOS
note: Do not get this board if u plan to use a card dedicated for Physx. Introducing a Physx card to the 2ndary slot shall reserve 8 lanes for it leaving your primary GPU crippled with 8 lanes for it to operate. The card dedicated for PHYSX shall have no real-world advantage operating at 8X instead of 4X, but you 'll be restricted to installing a card more powerful than 5870 as your primary card because it shall be bandwidth bottlenecked. This is where the vanilla version excels.

Ditch the H55 and H57 off your list.
Reason : You should be looking at a P55 chip. Reason for that - How can u ask ?
Ditch the gigabytes off your list.
Reason : Most 'f them are micro-ATX mobos and those which are not, lack firewire and come with shixxy Realtek audio chipset and have the pre-historic Award BIOS.

1.The VIA 1828s audio chip is light-years ahead of the lousy Realtek Audio. I got ears, and i 've listened to both. I 'll bet my rig on this. I 'll give it to you even if a VIA 1708s doesn 't sound better than the best 'f Realtek's. Head over to a friend 'f your 's who has got an ASUS P5KPL-AM and listen to the on-board VIA VT1708s. It can beat the ¤¤¤¤ out 'f an Audigy Value, let alone the miserable Realteks. The Asus P55s are armed with VT1828s which are superior to the VT1708s. VT1828s>VT1708s>Audigy Value>>>>>>>Realtek.

2.Looking at the AMI bios and the Award bios there seems to be generation gap between the two and AMI bios definitely has a more user-friendly layout than that from AWARD. After having switched to American Megatrends, I can 't even stare at the weird contrasting colours in the AWARD bios layout that prick into my eyes like needles. But again that 's matter 'f personal preference. This, though ceratainly not a deal breaker, the audio definitely is.

Ditch the LX from your list.
    1.
It basically is a crippled/budget/cut-down form of the vanilla version. It completely forgoes a multi-gpu setup with only 1 PCi-Express slot available, and that is a sin.
    2.
It replaces the VIA VT1828s audio chip with a slightly inferior VT1708s that is to be found on G31 ASUS motherboards.
    3. It has an inferior power circuitry compared to the vanilla version. Inferior tuning capabilities such as 0.02v IMC adjustment steps instead of 0.00625, a 41 step RAM voltage control instead of 104, a 23-step chipset voltage control instead of 36, 36 step reference voltage control instead 'f 56. All this translates into inferior overclocking capability compared to the vanilla version.
    4. No firewire.

Why am I not suggesting better motherboards? :

There r a lot 'f other boards that offer superior features to the above-mentioned boards, such as 8X 8X 4X or 16X 16X or even better multi-GPU modes through an implanted NF200 chip, which otherwise is imppossible on the P55 chipset. But i can sense that you 're not looking to spend enough to enter that territory and hence wouldn 't like to fill u in with so much 'f technical literature.

Why am I not suggesting cheaper substitutes ? :

There are boards from ECS and AsRock which offer a similar set of features for a smaller price tag or a bulkier spec. sheet for a similar price tag. But these manufacturers are very well-reputed for manufacturing mobos that are plagued with severe compatibility issues, inferior power circuitry, lame overclockability, blown VRMs and etc. Ppl will ask you to check out the ECS P55HAK, but trust me when i say 'Spend $60 more and get something equivalent from ASUS/Gigabyte or may be MSI.'

This is the second time im wrtting this post. The first time when i had written in more detail, just as i was about to finish, my laptop 's battery fell dead.
