Default In game Video demo saving!!!!

Its vital to watch your demo so that you can see your mistakes and improve your gaming.
I know some will say using fraps is the best way to save demo but using fraps will bring your fps too low because it uses a lot of RAM,and also fraps video takes a big place in hard disk. You will need a really superb computer to use fraps. Thus, saving demo with console command is the easiest and fastest way because it does not eat a single fps.

Recording a 1-player demo by console command

*To record a demo while playing cod4multiplayer in a server open console by pressing ~ or `
    then type /record <demoname>
    i.e.
    Code:
    /record furiousrulz
*That demo will be recording even after changing maps until you stop the record.
    *to stop recording type
    Code:
    /stoprecord
*If u record a cod4 demo after launching a mod,the demo saved in
    Program Files>Activision>Call of Duty4>Mods>modYOUplayed>Demos
    i.e.
    Code:
    Program Files>Activision>Call of Duty 4>Mods>ModWarfare>Demos
*But if you record a demo without mod the demo will be saved in
    Code:
    Program Files>Activision>Call of Duty 4>Main>Demos
NOTE :the demo will be saved in .dm_1 format.
this is a way of saving only your demo not the full team game replay.

Playing a demo by console command
*To play demo first launch the mod you used to record that demo.
*Then write in console /demo <demoname>
    i.e.
    Code:
    /demo furiousrulz
*if you didnot launch a mod then your demo is in
    Code:
    Program Files>Activision>Call of Duty 4>Main>Demos
but its unplayable in that folder you must copy it to
    Code:
    Program Files>Activision>Call of Duty 4>Mods>ModWarfare>Demos
    then launch modwarfare,then type
    Code:
    /demo furiousrulz
*To stop playing demo type in console
    Code:
    /disconnect
NOTE:you must be in cod4 multiplayer main menu when playing a demo. Not in a game server.
    make sure
no gaming client(gameranger/garena/xfire) is running when playing demo.
You cannot faster or slower the playback while playing through console command.

    Playing demo by cybopatplayer
*cod4 demo is also playable in demo player like cybopatplayer(recommended) http://www.cybopat.net/vb_cod4player_eng.php
    and also seismovision
http://www.seismovision.net(but i personally didnt use it yet)
*If u want to play cod4 demo with cybopat just download it from http://www.cybopat.net/vb_cod4player_eng.phpthen read the readme file, and run the program,
*In main screen of cybopat click on the keybord to show info about controls.
*At the first time you run,you have to locate the place of iw4mp.exe file in your computer.
*To start a demo playback via cybopat, open cybopat and then click open demo then locate your demos in
    Code:
    Program Files>Activision>Call of Duty 4>Main>Mods>ModWarfare>Demos
*To stop playing demo type in console
    Code:
    /disconnect
Benefit of cybopat : you can see in third personview and you can zoom in and out and you can faster and slower the playback. But you can never rewind.

To convert demo files to avi format for uploading in youtube
This is a matter of great sorrow that there is no converter software for converting .dm_1 file to .avi.So cod players suffers much to convert demo into avi video.(And there is no software for converting .dem to .avi so cs players suffer also). For converting demo into avi video there are 3 options.

    Option 1 Using fraps (recommended):
When running a cod4demo of your own through console command, use fraps to capture that demo in avi format.Later you can upload it to youtube.
However the advantage of doing this in COD is that the low fps you get from recording wont effect your gameplay as your watching a video of yourself. This option takes a lot of HDD space and gives nice quality. Its high quality and easy and takes a lot of space but it will not provide a smooth demo because you playing back the demo and capturing to fraps.

    Option 2 Ingame command:
This option will give you the best quality and smoothness, but it does also require a hell lot of work. And also you will not get sound in that demo.Playback your demo, and type /cl_avidemo 30 in the console, your screen will go fairly jerky and your FPS will hit the floor. What it is doing is taking a screenshot 30 times a second.
Once you have your desired footage, you will have a LOT of screenshots in your screenshots folder. What you need to do is convert these from TGA to Jpeg.Use Reaconverter to convert those TGA files to jpeg.Reaconverter is available from http://www.reasoft.com/products/reaconverter/ .Or use adobe photoshop.

So now we have hundereds of jpeg files, we need to put them all together to make an avi file.A program called JPGVideo, you can get this from http://www.ndrw.co.uk/download/share...avi/jpgavi.zip
This is very simple to use also, simply launch the program and click configure. At the top choose the directory where all your jpeg images are, and underneath that the output for the avi file. Set the frames per second slider to 30 then hit Ok.
On the next screen click run, it will then ask you which codec you want to use, at this point you can leave it uncompressed or compress it with your favourite codec (divx personally)
Once that process is done, you now have the .avi file which you can edit in premier or any other editing program.

Option 3 Tvout : i need to study about it

but still searching for better/easier demo recorder software/console command for full team demo....pliz help guys!and feedback!!Questions are welcome.

btw never forget about cod4 screenshot hotkey F12!!cod4>mods>modwarfare>screenshots
