Thread: Wimax signal reciption increasing ?

  1. #1

Default Wimax signal reciption increasing ?

I am having DATA COM exam 2moro ...so i was searching for some infomation about some data communication methods.....

i learned that we can gain strong signal if u place the device over a parabola metal (some dish look stuff )....so i wanted to try out if it works .....

1st i checked the current status of my wimax device

when "CINR Deviation" is low signal strength is high
when "CINR Deviation" is high signal strength is low

here CINR Devation is 14.37db ...this can be reduced ?

    then i went to kicthen to take a টিনে ডাকনা (সকালে আম্মুর ঝারি খাইতে হবে for taking that stuff)

i put my wimax router over it ........

then status looks like this ....................................

here CINR deviation is only 5.53db.......

I guess I should give it a go too, though I do get 100% of my promised bandwidth, but pings a bit lower won't hurt ;]
