Default Re: Tp-link pci wifi card

    Ridwan bhai,

model is TP-Link TL-WN550G. No it doesnt support ap mode by default. But with "connectify" software it supports Ap mode. i used to use connectify when i was using htc hero and nexus 1 and share my pc internet with android phones. you are right that android doesnt support ad-hoc mode. and connectify solves that problem. its just a 2 mb software and it works just perfectly.
however, i never needed a router as this card served me just well. but now after getting dialup ppoe internet i just cant share my internet with pci card. its just a limitation of windows. otherwise this card is jyst fine for personal internet sharing. cheers
