the difference is: 1st is mATX & 2nd one is a full ATX motherboard.

mATX motherboards usually have less pci/e slots, less USB ports, RAM slots, cramped PCB & or less heatsinks! Whereas the ATX counterpart is the opposite.

    @arif
the g series comes along a on board graphics.
if you are going to buy a gpu then i don't see the point to buy g31 or g41 try p43 instead.
p43 represents the performance series and as they don't have on board graphics other features are quite good on these motherboards.
as you need quality i think it is better to buy a performance series.

and if you don't want to buy a gpu then go for g41 mother boards.

and other than foxconn i have the opportunity to go through all the mother boards and they are good. but avoid intel if you can and i suggest asus.

I think Asus G41 with DDR2/DDR3 support would be the best... Because, u can use your current DDR2 RAMs with that, and also upgrade to DDR3's later, and those RAM's can be used in Core i Series too. Also, if u take any G31 with 1k less, then there's no guarantee that u'll find the same brand's and same bus's DDR2 RAM later...

So IMO, go for the Asus G41 with DDR2/DDR3 support @ 4.5k

@Arif, honestly speaking, if you want a better mobo in terms of performance, then without any question just go for ECS P43. since u don need a built in GPU, so P series mobo is better then G series in every way.

    Question Re: Which is better???

    Thank u all ,

I am not willing 2 take ECS 43 because dat one doesnt have any builtin gfx & I am kind of guy who changes his gfx card reularly,so when I sell my gfx card in dat time I will need bultin gfx but if everybody suggests me 2 buy dat mobo strongly I will buy dat one & also buy a 8400gs for backup......About it's price dey said 4k but exactly cant remeber d series name, only remember dat was 43 chipset with no builtin gfx.....

Without ECS others have suggested Asus g41..........Will Asus g41 be good in quality, durability, performance & compability......Lemme know becasue it is d most important thing 2 me.......I have heard ddr2+ddr3 mobo makes prob,is it true?............So should I take dat one?......Any more suggestion would be appreciated.....

asus g41 is a good motherboard and it has both ddr2 & ddr3 slots. i don't think it cause any problem. and you can use your ddr2 now and can use ddr3 later on, so if you need on board gpu then my suggestion is go for asus g41.
friend of mine uses a combine ram motherboard and i only see smile on his face!

I would personally avoid G series and hybrid motherboards (i.e. DDR2 + DDR3 support). I've heard that the hybrid boards can be problematic, and since reliability is a concern I'd recommend the P43 board. It's much better than the G series board and from what I know, ECS makes decent boards.

edit: And whatever you do, don't buy the intel mobo.

dont go for Hybrids! also, afaik: you wont be able to use DDR2 & DDR3 together, so there's no point in buying it. Go for P35/P45 if you can.

@ Arif bhaiya, plz don't mind, but I don't understand one thing... :S Why u need to change PC hardwares again & again...? It's waste of money, time & psychological/physical labour after all, IMO...
