    Default Game Development

so, i've been keeping myself busy
working in PHP, MYSQL, jQuery, JS and all web stuff
    since i find programming challenging
i want to learn game development
thought smn here might give me some pointers
from where to start and all
i can hardly find time to Google away
so, thought of cutting to the chase
i'm sure there are many programmers here with potential

you need to get your hands dirty with C++ and windows programing (a little).
    then DirectX codings.

on the other hand, you can try things like UDK.
The abuse of greatness is when it disjoins remorse from power.

    okay cool
so, what kind of authoring tools do i use to make/edit the codes?
like we use Adobe Dreamweaver for most web related stuff
are there any such tools for game development?
or do we just use C++ compiler?

I will suggest cryengine crytek sandbox. its the most user friendly wysiwyg engine out there. it comes free with crysis. and u can download it online too. it has a flow-chart based ai creation system. i'm not saying its very easy. but it definitely is simple when you consider what you can accomplish with it

oh yes I remember that you dont like goggling

I have a friend who did research on Game Development...
Afaik, you need to have know C++ and/or C# and some knowledge on DirectX, and after you're good with these languages you can try and get hold of a Game Engine and work with it. Microsoft has an engine, called XNA (http://creators.xna.com/en-US/). But there are more engines and game libraries out there. You just have to look around.

Oh also, you might want to get your hands on someone who is a 3D Modeler.

to use iphone u need macOS so u need a mac book (unless u use hacintosh)!
    as solid snake said.
and to learn programming of it u need to learn xcode.

    android is also demanding nowadays.
