Default Which is the Best Processor, Motherboard, PCI Card & Monitor For Movie Watching and Games?

I am planning to buy PC. Can u suggest me which is the best Processor, Motherboard, PCI Card & Monitor i can choose. Budget is not a problem for me.

Initially i have chosen Intel Core i5-750 2.66 GHz, Intel DH55HC, Hitachi 1 TB HDD TRANSCEND 2GB 1333 DDR3 Ram.I am confused about the monitor. I inted to go for Dell for Monitor as Samsung is made @ India now a days. But some people suggest me for Fujitso, Japaneses product. Can u suggest me better.

mention the size of the screen and samsung is not made in india . I bought a 20" samsung recently its made in malaysia.

change the motherboard, go for a gigabyte one and instead of transcend ram go for A-Data Twinmos or TEam Ram

Default Re: Which is the Best Processor, Motherboard, PCI Card & Monitor For Movie Watching and Games?

Processor: NO doubt, its the i7 930
Motherboard: I would suggest either Gigabyte or ASUS & if they have SATA 3.0 & USB 3.0 then its a +
Graphics Card: ATI RADEON 5870, any manufacture is fine as long as they provide good warranty & a good price tag!
Monitor: Look around IDB, or Multiplan: you can find 16:10 which are pretty big & will do the job fine. Both for gaming & movies.

Also buy 1TB HDD for storage & a fast Samsung F3 for apps & games. A good 3*2GB set of RAMs, here you are only limited to Transcend, TwinMos, etc. Get a good PSU, dont skimp on this one. Either a TT 600W ToughPower or Delta 650+ or ASUS 650-750W, though I'm afraid availability is a issue!

My opinion will match mostly with shaitan vai, so a (+) reputation to him...

I'll only disagree with him in terms of Mobo & PSU.... don't get that P6T & TT 650w... :/

He he - if you plan to watch 1080 movies (bluray) then any Intel core 2 DUO CPU and any Nvidia 8000 series will be enough. That's it.

For gaming...then the fastest core duo DUO CPU you can get and the fastest Nvidia 9000 series graphics card. That's it It is not more complicated than that.

4GB Ram and any HDD will do. Any monitor will do but Benq has cheap 22" screens that support 1080 for about $140 (their T-series line) - you get better value than what Samsung has to offer so try to find Benq - screen quality is same-same for both brands but samsung is generally 50% more expensive compared to screensize.
