Recently I discovered an interesting thing. I connected my ups with my friends cpu (monitor was wall plugged) which is a core i5 with built-in gpu and 400/500 watt non brand psu. The ups gave a backup of 26 minutes while playing games. I was totally shocked. When it comes to my cpu, (look at my profile) the ups give only 10-15 sec backup before it shut itself off (remember it "shut itself off" not the charge is empty because I checked it with my friend's cpu immediately after a failed backup attempt with my pc).

    Any Idea?

bought it myself for my online ups. In sudorban market there is only 2 wholesale dealer. (1 sale diamec, first power and another shop sells only Long only) Other than those 2, rest of the shops sells 中中 quality battery. So, u have to be careful and smart enough to avoid buying from others.

Because, your system draws a lot more power than your friend's PC

I can't recall the name of the shop but its a small shop and they only sell long battery nothing else. And yes 7 amp is fine. .2 amp isn't that significant.

If u don't feel comfortable being in nobabpur, check this out : http://www.orientcomputers.com/kunglongbattery.php

They are the importers of the said batteries but i'm a bit skeptical if they will sell directly to retail customers.
