    Question Annoying Roadblocks while browsing

Sorry that I couldn't find a better title for this thread. For past couple of days I'm getting this sort of roadblock pages before going to many sites.

The address of this page is shown something like ad.sg.doubleclick.net while loadind. Seeing Doubleclick I thought it might be a spyware. So I scanned but found nothing. I also get this sort of pages while browsing in Ubuntu. I think my PC is not infected. Any idea how to get rid of them? Maybe the DNS servers I use has something to do with this problem? I use 119.110.82.254 , 116.193.170.5 , 8.8.8.8 .

BTW, I only get ads from shaadi.com. I don't know how they found me as a potential client.

Thanks. But it's just a temporary fix. And it won't work in Ubuntu. I'm trying to get rid of this completely. But your suggestion will help me until I get something permanent.

or, you could use the Adblock Plus extension (for Firefox, not sure if there's any for Google chrome), add filter for ad sites. e.g. *.doubleclick.net/* and they won't show up again.

That's DNS hijacking *DNS hijacking Use by ISPs! Stop using the DNS addresses provided by your ISP. Replace those DNS addresses with Google DNS [8.8.8.8 ; 8.8.4.4] or Open DNS [208.67.222.222 ; 208.67.220.220].
