Playing with Razor: how to improve?

As a noob DOTA starter, I have picked Razor as he is easy to handle and stylish. Can you guys help me to find some answers?

01. What is the best Item combination for Razor? Please be brief and explain why.
02. What is the combo for Razor to kill a Hero? Give your own idea.
03. How to gain levels more quickly with him? I know he is a good farmer but at AI maps even with easy opponents, I cant keep up with others heroes when playing Razor.
04. What will be the best skill build sequence for him?
05. I think the Static Link is totally useless, how can I make it useful?

Besides Razor, whom you suggest most as a Easy yet powerful hero for starters like me?

DotA is not an easy hero. Try to find out the strength and weakness of every hero that you play and analys yourself. Stop playing AI. Play in Garena.

BTW, NFS is really helpful. I wish we could have SP helping and giving tips to the starters.. Like NFS does.

Static link is a very strong spell late game.. well my razor skill build goes like this[more details here]:

Level 1 Plasma Field
Level 2 Static Link
Level 3 Plasma Field
Level 4 Unstable Current
Level 5 Plasma Field
Level 6 Eye of the Storm
Level 7 Plasma Field
Level 8 Unstable Current/Static Link
Level 9 Unstable Current
Level 10 Unstable Current
Level 11 Eye of the Storm
Level 12 Unstable Current/Static Link
Level 13 Static Link
Level 14 Static Link
Level 15 Stats
Level 16 Eye of the Storm

one lvl of static link is good enough at early game..

BUT.. let this noob say this, the skill build depends on the game and the opponents you are playing against.

Assuming your a starter, if you really want to learn to play with a hero first step is learn basic dota. Now dota is a team game and so there is really isin't "best items" but there is "core items" sometimes u need to make items according to your team requirements anyway first play with AI to get good a last hitting and denying and memorise the hero spell hotkeys. As for items and combos visit www.playdota.com .there are plenty of guides on many heroes which includes lots of knowledge. Dota requires not only skillz but knowledge too and thats what your going to gain by playing at cafes or GG.

To sum up :

1.Play with AI to learn basic dota and your hero properly [ i have seen people not buying boots claiming the unholy aura is enuf + Sange and Yasha]
2.If you want to skip the self learning thing go visit dota websites and read their guides and use the info der to make ur own strategies.
3.Free time or when there aren't much human players, practise with insane AI.This not you improve your Dotaing skill but this will help you get quite good at last hitting and denying. Trust me AI can last hit and deny very well and your target shud be that you keep with their exp and gold even though they more XP and gold than you.

4. Play with humans in Pubs to test your strategies

I am not dota pro or nything but these things shud help you a lot.

Can you guys suggest me a item build?

I use:
HoD > Satanic
Bloodstone
EoS
BoT
Butterfly
Crystalys > Buriza

I didn't planned them though, just use them randomly.
What would be a good escape plan (with or without item) ? What is feeding (that I am dying much or I am not denying properly) ? How do I stop a hero from auto kill? I mean I want to hit the last finishing shot only but hero seems to auto kill everyone. How do I customize keyboard shortcuts?

Razor does not need the bloodstone. HotD is a nice item to get, follow up with Satanic. But the first item for Razor has to be Vanguard. You may want to buy a hood depending the opponent heroes. Phase and Treads and Travel are all viable for Razor. A stick can come in handy.

Follow up the core with Yasha-manta, complete Satanic or go straight Butterfly. That is what I would aim for.

Escape plan always revolves around map awareness. Feeding is what you will do playing against SP... Last hitting comes from practice and practice and some more practice.

Razor is not a imba or a easy hero...in my view its a Pro hero...as razor has low Hp n armor

-Well, first u can make a stick treads/Phase boot. Then u go for a Vanguard and hood and then u can carry on with items like manta style, Radiance, Butterfly etc.

-Razor can combo with any support hero, could be Demon Witch, EarthSHaker, Crystal Maiden, Sand King, Enigma jungle and then help razor time to time. These are not ma ideas this is basically wat happens in competitive DOTA.

Just last properly and take all creeps and try to deny as much as possible and if u are playing AI then u shud turn off the double exp for the AI heroes then only u can keep up with those AI heroes!

- I think skill builds are as same as posted above.

05. I think the Static Link is totally useless, how can I make it useful?
- It is not at all useless it swaps the opponents damage if I am not wrong use it wisely and its gr8.

- Razor is one of the easiest heroes to start it was more easier before, u can also start with support heroes such as Crystal Maiden, Lich, Demon Witch etc
