directors, i have a suggestion bout the present ranking system in BFL. i think we need to change a few rules about being in da point table. like there should be a minimum number of matches to be played to enter da table. for example 5 matches. otherwise it really looks odd. pls can we do something to make dis ranking a more acceptable and credible one?

• overall ranking, it takes all matches into account. however, there are -3 points penalty for failing to attend 2 matchdays at a stretch.
• effective ranking, it is viewable on the matchday at the venue. it includes only those players present at the venue who have also participated on 2 out of previous 3 matchdays.

himel i think you maintain/organize an online ladder system over smile/bdcom? we have a ladder system installed so it'll be pretty easy to handle. there is obviously electricity and disconnection problem, but you guys who play online will have to find a workaround.

there is one big problem,
when who is playing whom its only known by them.
so all of the players must be aware of the system and help each other.

well the ladder works like, one member challenges another, the other guy accepts. then they play it out, then one of them update the result. then the other guy confirms it. after that it becomes official and counts in ladder system.

in hamachi you can keep watch by arranging matches at night time and keeping track of hamachi IP addresses.

Users or teams can join tournaments. Once full the tournament starts. In single elimination tournaments competitors progress through rounds of tournament with the number of rounds depending on the number of players in tournament which is set on tournament creation. Last Man Standing Tournaments also supported.

Ladder Description:
Users or teams can also join ladders and challenge other players or teams in the ladder. Elo rating system is used which calculates the difficultly of a match according to the players' ranks and this is taken into account when the ranks are updated after the match is finished.

  o Hall of Fame (Top 10 Tournament Players)
  o Permissions can be set per usergroup
  (AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> {Select Usergroup} -> Tournament Permissions)
  o Tournaments start automatically when no slots are left
  o Tournaments have proper Date/ Time converted to users timezone and DST

though i m having a tough term with operating system, software development, networking and microprocessor sessional i wanna look at the ladder system, i will help as much possible to administrate the online matches over hamachi
