You only get the codes, yes. Physical ones are not available.

No, because the aim is to keep the prices down and make it easier for people to buy. Physical cards will drive prices up and make it harder for people to buy.

i think if you trade with a friend you can give him balance for a trade cart or something, but i dont think you can give balance for nothing.

and i am not a steam expert so i dont know exactly... good question.

The default currency is USD for this region and yes you can recharge with any currency based steam wallet keys. Steam will convert the currency into USD. However, due to the recent drop in price of Rubles, steam may have changed it's policies. Most likely we remain unaffected by this.

You can redeem the GCs just fine, the rubles thing was restricted to Russia only. I believe they adjusted their prices and also region-locked all games.

so if i buy a Steam Gift Card that was issued in GBP can be safely redeemed with my Bangladeshi Steam account at current ex rate of GBP to USD right?

just saying, 1. suppose i have 200$ in my steam account and give some of it to my friend, if he trades a card with me can i give my balance to him (showing steam trade happened)?

2. if the answer of 1. is yes, then can i do it even without trading? suppose my friend doesn't have anything in their inventory to trade.

You cannot give other steam user balance for anything at all.
The only way to get balance in steam wallet is funding by yourself or redeeming a wallet code.

Edit: Well another way is giving someone the steam ID who can fund it via Paypal/credit card, if you trust him enough.

You could buy any item put up for sale(eg a trading card) by your friend for the amount(eg $200) you want to give him. But Valve takes 20% of the cut. And no it is not possible without trading.

That requires both of their wallet to be activated. And that defeats the purpose of giving balance cause its better to buy the desired item and trade.

@Taher furious as far I know exchanging currency between accounts is not possible. If any 1 offers you steam currency or balance transfer in-exchange of your game or in game items, you should report him immediately as a scammer.
