As announced before, we are proud to announce the BanglaGamer Dota 2 Championship, the first properly hosted (in-client) online Dota 2 tournament in Bangladesh with $1000 in prizes. It is sponsored by Team Group and ImpEx Computer. Tournament will tentatively start from 21st March, 2014.
This tournament will be hosted on Valve servers (SEA) using the Dota 2 client's tournament hosting feature. So yes! The tournament will have in-game item drops with your favorite Bangladeshi player's name on it! We will try to have broadcasters for every game too.
We want as many teams as possible. There will be a minimal entry fee and extremely high prize money. Since it is online, if you can play Dota 2, you can join the tournament. If you do not have a team, find some other players from BD guild and form your team now.
Please note that we care about professionalism. Unless otherwise stated, you must register your team before deadline.
The tickets are available at Dota 2 Store. If you want to buy using BDT, please contact ImpEx Computer shop at Jamuna Future Park. You can give your steam profile url and pay ticket price. You will receive your ticket as Steam trade offer.

Group Stage Match Timings
How to play a match:
- Contact other teams' captains from your group (All team captains steam profile is given above.)
- Get to know when they can play and let them know when you can play.
- Fix a match (or two) with a team at certain date and time.
- Find a referee who can be present during your matches. (referee list will be provided here)
- Email [email protected] with your fixed time at least 24 hours before the match.
- Each team has to play against 8 teams/16 matches (9 teams/18 matches for group D). You have until 1st April to finish up all group stage matches.
For the first time, we are introducing premium class tournaments in Bangladesh and this is not the last. We want to host this kind of tournament frequently. However, for that to happen, this tournament needs to be a hit. So do not forget to share the news as much as possible. Share on facebook, tell your friends, share the news in any place you can.
