• Is Climax Studios Developing A New Prince Of Persia Game?

    NeoGAF users found the screenshots for an untitled project referred to as “Character Action Platformer,” which appears to feature side-scrolling gameplay similar to the Original Prince Of Persia. Could Climax be working with Ubisoft on a new entry in the series that pays homage to the series roots? Is Climax working on something different from the series that just happens to look like Prince Of Persia? Share your thoughts in the comments.

    Ubisoft has shared the following statement with Game Informer, "There is no new information to share in regard to Prince Of Persia." Whether that means there will be information to share soon (in conjunction with these screenshots or not) is anyone's guess. We would certainly love to see another Prince Of Persia in the making.

      This is not PoP. Publisher is Konami. Beside UBISOFT won't let other dev to ruin their AAA title. Its not like Ubi is short on manpower.

      But the game looks fine, probably a PoP wannabe. Would love a new action-platformer IP.

      Looks kind of like Prince of Persia 2 shadow and Flames remake. But can't be as anik_lc mentioned the publisher is Konami. Probably a xbox live arcade and PSN game.

      wished it was TRUE........still remember when i was playing sands of time.took me nearly 5 days to pass that freaking stairs/floors chapter.

      you mean that fountain doors puzzle after spiral stairs? ya, that part was epic & it rewards you with a nice cutscene
