• Tomb Raider single player campaign spans 12-15 hours

Tomb Raider's campaign will last between 12 and 15 hours, dependent on gamers' play style. Crystal Dynamics global brand director Karl Stewart shared the news over Twitter recently, and also revealed a range of other details regarding the upcoming action game.

Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft will have regenerative health in the game. Additionally, though she is able to swim, the game will not feature any swimming sequences.

Stewart also addressed a question regarding the possibility of a Tomb Raider sequel. He said "of course" Crystal Dynamics will make a second game if the first is successful. This follows comments from Stewart in June, when he said at least one additional game is needed to tell Croft's entire origin story.

Tomb Raider was originally planned to launch during fall 2012, but was delayed in May to March 5, 2013. Set for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

I hate regenerating health. It is ruining my Assassin's Creed III experience at the moment.

She is just out of college, might not had a chance for swimming training. But yeah I wished it would be there, hopefully it will be in the sequel.

My play-through might span around 20 hours as I want to spend an hour in a small area just to climb onto everything, and see everything.

Traversal is the best part of platforming action-adventure titles.

My friend playtested the game at Square Enix Montreal and he said it took him about 9 hours to finish. There's still a lot of polishing left, but its mostly for glitches and multiplayer balances, (yes there's multiplayer for hunters vs survivors).
There are only 5 weapons in the game, (pickaxe, bow, pistol, rifle (I believe? have to ask him again) and shotgun). All weapons can be upgraded (bow gets the zoom feature, pistol magically becomes a magnum by sawing off the barrel, shotgun becomes a sawed off, etc. Multiplayer is Bow focused cuz its OP.
If you thought the quick time events and Lara constantly squirming while platforming was annoying in the demos, its like that the whole game. He hasn't played Uncharted 3, but said that its way too over the top with how many times he got completely wrecked in the game and he only bruised her stomach after a series of tumbles. Not very realistic according to him.
He finished Uncharted 1 only since he only has a 360, but says that even UC1 is better. Would give it a 6 or 5 because the game is too repetitive and the survival sh*t (like killing animals to eat) you only really do in the beginning. He did say the story is good though. I can't spoiler tag, but if anyone wants to know about the environments, lemme know. It's very diverse from jungle to ... other stuff lol.
