Those of you who haven't seen it yet, this is what prompted, or kinda forced Nvidia to announce RTX support on their non-RTX cards in the first place, as a way of casually saying ''ok accha, amrao pari" :p

I personally suggest to read the trusted reviews so you will get some ideas on LAN card. Firstly I purchased Cisco LAN card which is a good brand honestly but some of our reputed companies took a high price as we didn't compare. Later found all cards work only on Windows and poor signal and need additional drivers. Linux don't know this card...

Speaking of Ray Tracing, where the hell are RT games? What happened to Shadow of The Tomb Raider? The only game that actually looked great with RT was Quake 2. Maybe because it's using ray traced lighting. Metro Exodus uses RT GI which looks great but the base lighting is still rasterized.

yup totally - - - Updated - - - plus, nvidia's not a charity, they need constant pressure from AMD/competitors to deliver look at how Intel was forced to quit pushing quad cores at outrageous pricing for so long - so much market stagnation 'til Ryzen arrived

this is nvidia on their own to blame . first they ¤¤¤¤ed up vram on rtx cards , didn't communicate properly with developers before implementing ray tracing exclusives and didn't change mid range gpu price for soo long time it just kept frustrated to it's consumers

I'd say that's well deserved especially considering the jacked up prices due to lack of competition RTX sales were disappointing

Probably because they didn't live up to the shareholder expectation. See that drop as if someone pushed nvidia over the cliff or something. So now nvidia throwing everything they can to win some of them over and most importantly clear old stocks.

It's not like performance will be acceptable in 10 series anyway. That's why they added the RT cores.

My monitor can do 320x200p. I hoped they added DXR to all cards so I could at least test Metro Exodus at 200p with DXR and Quake 2 at 900p.

What about the frame times? Are there microstutters and are they noticeable with SLI? Does Vsync prevent microsctutters, what about RTSS fps lock?

Most of them do, to some extent. The scaling might be less than desirable at times. Far Cry 5 supports it. Shadow of The Tomb Raider supports it. These are the two AAA titles I can name off the top of my head. I might try messing around Battlefield V and Anthem.
